What clients say
about my work ...

I arrived at my first class under Dana with this little mess of a terrier and honestly, wasn’t expecting a lot. Gabby is highly energetic and vocal and I wasn’t sure anyone could get much cooperation out of her. But, Dana was calm and reassuring at every step. I have used several different obedience schools with other dogs and I never felt the individual attention we got from Dana even though she had several other rowdy students at the same time. She is very in tune with both her canine students and their masters alike. She always knew when I was ready to throw in the towel, so to speak, and reassured me many times. We completed and graduated not only that first class, but two more classes after that. I have already signed up a second dog and am excited that now Dana can train Sophie and I to be a strong, well behaved team. I would recommend Dana to all my friends without hesitation.
We met Dana just a short time ago but it feels like we’ve known her much longer. She was referred to us by a mutual friend after our 6 yr old fur babies decided to get into a fight. The fight, as you can imagine, was not fun & very upsetting. After speaking to her on the phone just a few days after the fight, she put our minds at ease & offered hope that things were not as bad as they seemed. She encouraged us to read certain articles & forwarded us the exact ones to read. We’ve met with her 3 times now & we all love her. We look so forward to her visits & are excited to learn new things. Dana is kind & caring and it shows the minute you meet her. We highly recommend Dana Stone.
Sophie is an older girl that loved doing visitations at schools and adult care centers but got over excited. She so enjoyed her work and the people she met I was at first reluctant to do training concerned it would dampen her enthusiasm. Dana understood my concern and thought she could benefit from learning some simple commands and how to sit for a greeting. Sophie is learning fast and she is as enthusiastic as ever. We still have some classes to go and I’m excited to see how far Sophie can take this with Dana’s help. We have even been talking about going all the way to certified therapy dog she is doing so well.
I met Dana a few months ago for my dogs first puppy class. From the moment she saw Angus, she knew exactly what he needed before I even realized it myself. He has since learned so many commands and lessons that he has turned into a true gentleman. She not only helps to train your dog, but she is training you in the process. Angus and I both completely respect Dana, and look forward to class every week. I am really happy at the clear and precise way she directs the training, and shows me exactly what I need to do to be successful with him. She wants you and your dog to win, and it shows. I am so happy I found her; she has so much knowledge to share and is a huge treasure to the animal community. I will forever be thankful to all that she has done for Angus and I.
